Challenge & a Great Leap
Once he got a difficult assignment related with a well. Its concrete cover was slumped and need immediate action. There was only one way available at that time that was to rebuild it again. Bansarsi Das thought that if I could lift this cover with the help of wooden logs and other accessories then I could save a major cost as well as time also. The same technique was used in lifting a small road side bridge. He improved the technique and used screw jacks to gain the control over the process and protocol of lifting. He was very much practical and used to develop simple solutions of complex problems with using local resources. He used to study newspapers and kept his eyes open to know about various tools and techniques used in lifting building profession. He heard that in foreign countries there are techniques by which houses and commercial complexes are lifted and shifted.
His elder son Rajkumar who is working with in Railways took the responsibility of handling economical affairs of the family. Unfortunately he lost his right arm while working on a cutting machine. Family was shattered and shocked. To overcome the family from this plight his elder grandson Sushil Kumar dropped out his education in between and joined him for business. Bansarsi Das had a great business sense. He explored many business ideas for his grand son. He came up with a idea that the business should be based on producing such commodity which is always in high demand. He found that SNOWCEM and Waterproof Cement Paint such commodities which fall in category projected above. Sushil started a factory for producing the SNOWCEM and Cement Paint. The produced very high quality materials and started marketing. Both of them very good in producing the materials but marketing were the problem. None of them was having any kind of experience in sales and distribution.
